Any time an article with a title of 'Snuggie Sightings' hits the Internet, a certain someone I know (me) gets a handy Google Alert. So cdub77 on HubPages.com has written an article on the Snuggie craze.
I found it to be well-written and asking what the popularity of the Snuggie says about our time and culture. cdub77 ends his article with, 'Tell me U.S.A., I got my Snuggie on and am waiting to hear from you.' Tell cdub77 why you wear your Snuggie. He wants to know.

If you have followed this site for a while, you'll be familiar with the term 'Snuggie Restless Arm Syndrome' - which is the curious condition that afflicts most Snuggie wearers. Once you put on a Snuggie, you want to raise your arms for no apparent reason. Well, I happened upon a certain company's Twitter account yesterday, and noticed this Tweet. It reads 'Slanket has RSS: Restless Sleeve Syndrome'.
NOTE TO SLANKET: If you claim to be an original, and if you choose to cry Slanket Tears over being copied, then why are you copying me? 2nd place isn't so bad. I'm flattered you noticed. Happy Tweeting :) And one more thing, that Tweet about being on Letterman - he was making fun of you. I'm just trying to help you.
Later this morning, between 10:30-11:30 AM CST, I will be an in-studio guest on SuperTalk 99.7 WTN in Nashville. We'll be discussing the Snuggie, and specifically this FREE Snuggie Concert scheduled for Tuesday Night, April 7th:
I could not help but notice that light snow is in the forecast for Tuesday Night - this is perfect weather for a Snuggie event. The show will go on as planned, regardless of the weather, so be sure to get your Snuggie and head out to the 5 Spot.
Opening acts will be taking the stage by 8 PM, and then 'Tony Weeks and the Tony Weeks Band, Featuring Tony Weeks' (Best. Band. Name. EVER) will start their Snuggie set at 9 PM (so don't worry about American Idol, Nashvillians - you can grab your Snuggie and head out and still get in on the Snuggie fun).
Everyone wearing a Snuggie will be entered into a drawing to win a Designer Leopard Print Snuggie which will be given away to ONE lucky fan. (Those without a Snuggie are welcome to attend the concert as well).
But why should Nashville have all the Snuggie Fun???

Some time ago, during the last Snuggie Sighting extravaganza from the Warehouse Guys (aptly entitled 'OSHA Still Hearts the Snuggie in the Workplace'), I noticed a strange reference on a marker board in the background of one of their pics.

Here is Josh's explanation on 'Viva La Chair'
"A while ago a nearby company threw out a motorized wheelchair. I took it upon myself to get it working. We used that thing all over the place. I put on some "spinners", added some bling and pimped it out. We called it the smile machine, since you couldn't ride it while frowning (similar to the Snuggie). Well, the powers that be told me that it finally had to go since it was 'disrupting work' (whatever that means), so in memory of the chair, we wrote "viva la chair".
