...he would wear a Snuggie. Brook not only can hula hoop in a Snuggie, or get in Life&Style Weekly Magazine in her Snuggie. She also finds time to relax with a good book.
Snuggie = Warm + Cozy Squared...
Be sure to check out Dr. Blogstein's on 3/31/2009 at 8:00 PM EST. I will be one of the guests on the Radio Happy Hour, along with Than Merrill, former NFL Safety and Current Star of "Flip This House" on A&E, and Dennis Palumbo, psychotherapist to the stars.

From time to time I like to write about the actors and actresses who starred in the Snuggie Commercial (now commercials - thanks to the Snugglette and Designer Snuggie). So tonight I bring you a fun fact about Snuggie Lady Jane DeNoble:
What does the Jonas Brothers, News Anchor Martha McCullum, Actress Jillian Armenante, Tara Reid, American Idol's Constantine Margolis, Former Yankees Shortstop Bucky Dent, Yankees Bench Coach Don Zimmer and the Snuggie Lady Jane DeNoble all have in common?
They all hail from Wyckoff, NJ
...and now you know, the rest of the Snuggie story. There must be something in the water in Wyckoff.
It seems everyone wants to stake their claim to Snuggie history. There is something to be said in being first related to the Snuggie. Well, apparently a New Orleans Mardi Gras Snuggie reveler saw the post about NickNock in St. Louis, sporting their Snuggies and Beads. Allen sent in these pics, claiming that they are from February 20, 2009 - during the Mardi Gras celebration in New Orleans.
Allen wanted me to set the record straight, that he and his friend Eric, in the red Snuggie, were the originators of this idea a (and I quote): "full day before, on February 20, 2009 in New Orleans, Louisisana (his spelling). I have attached a few photos of our snug-stoumes (again, his spelling) from that night on Burbon (once again, his spelling). We would like the record corrected." (that must have been SOME party going down on Bourbon Street).
So Allen, I have corrected the record, giving you your due. Now please put that Snuggie on correctly. For further enlightenment related to the Backward Snuggie, please see Snuggie PSA - Friends Don't Let Friends Wear their Snuggie Backwards and Backwards Snuggies - Stemming the Tide...the life you change may be your own.
Congrats on making Mardi Gras history. I'm sure 2010 Mardi Gras is going to have a sea of Snuggies.

Update 3/11/09 - Harpo Productions has had the YouTube videos removed. They were not mine, I simply embedded them on this site, but the source files were from someone else on YouTube...so if you want to see Oprah in a Snuggie, I guess you'll have to find a re-run...or you could just watch out for Tyra in a Snuggie, which is due to hit any day now.

You will have to settle for my original description of what you could have seen in the video, if Harpo Prods hadn't brought down the copyright hammer.
Oprah chats with Mr. Snuggie, Scott Boilen, about the success of the Snuggie. The panel on Oprah's show, which included Tyler Perry in a Zebra Snuggie, seemed to doubt that people would wear Snuggies out in public, to theaters, etc.
Although Scott didn't point Oprah's viewers to SnuggieSightings.com (sigh) for proof of Snuggies in Public, he did mention that people are out Pub Crawling in Snuggies. For more on Snuggie Pub Crawling, check out SnuggiePubCrawls.com (which is on the 1st Page of Fark.com right now and getting slammed with traffic). They also discussed people wearing Snuggies in theaters. Here is a pic of a Snuggie wearer at an opening night midnight screening of the Watchmen movie. Our first Snuggie Sighting in a theater is here.
It now officially does not matter that warm weather is fast approaching. The Snuggie is going to do just fine through Spring and Summer, thanks to someone whom you may already know...Oprah, a.k.a. O. (You know you are big when you can be referred to as the first letter of your name...this isn't quite as 'Artist Formerly Known as Prince / Funky Hieroglyphic' big, but 'tis big enough for your own TV Show, Magazine, etc.)
On Friday, March 6th, Oprah devoted time to the Snuggie. For the first time, new Snuggie lines made an appearance. These new prints are known as Designer Snuggies. Prints available are Leopard, Zebra, and Camel. And also Snugglettes, Snuggies for Kids - Check out Oprah in the Pink Snugglette. You go, girl! And notice how Tyler Perry can cradle his coffee cup because his arms are not restricted by a blanket.
Oprah, thanks to the Snuggie People, was able to give away Snuggies to the entire audience. I will have this video up at some point of the crowd's joyous reaction to the news. Snuggie = Mainstream.
While the world went to the Watchmen premiere's at 12:01 AM Friday, I was home hitting Twitter Search. There were several poetic tweets out there in the wild, all sent via cell phones, that said basically..."Dude. Just saw a dude in a Snuggie at the theater." So being the polite person that I am, I started tweeting these Twitter Poets, asking them to get a picture and send it in. (Have I mentioned before how amazing Twitter is?) Thanks to Valloq for forwarding this pic. And I believe the person who took the actual shot is the proud owner of this website (trying to provide proper attribution).
And special note to the dude in the pic: I suppose you don't mind being on this site, considering that you wore a Snuggie to the Watchmen Premiere. Nothing says 'Notice Me' quite like that. If you spot yourself here, please let me know your name so I can give you props as well for sporting the Snuggie in public.
There is something in the air. I am starting to get more and more pictures of Dogs in Snuggies. Here are 2 recent shots. The first is from Melissa.
And now, from Kim, we have Max relaxing in his Red Snuggie.
