Here's one of the largest Varsity Snuggie Sightings I have ever seen, by way of a submission entitled 'Christmas Eve Snuggie Party with the Beebe Clan - Burlington, NJ'.

The Snuggie has evolved. It has now grown legs, a closed back, and escape hatches for bathroom breaks. But, alas, this is not a Snuggie at all. It is the Forever Lazy...although some call it a Lazy Snuggie.

Only time will tell if this will catch on like the Snuggie did. Perhaps if some creative blogger type were to encourage the public to wear these out in public, go on pub crawls in them, use his sparkling sense of humor, etc. then it might just catch on. Get ready for your next Marketer of the Year award, Scott Boilen :) No need to thank me.

Order Forever Lazy

I just was on Google and the time lapse video for their Google doodle for their logo is a video where they are carving pumpkins. I couldn't help but notice someone wearing a Snuggie at this point.

Good thing there's a Snuggie for Dogs. The adult version doesn't fit this pug too well.

I happened to catch this Snuggie Sighting going into the 13th inning of tonight's Giants/Padres game (and yes, I grabbed it off my MLB.TV app on my iPhone). The score was tied at 5-5 when the camera found a Snuggie wearer in the crowd. He's rocking a Giants Snuggie, so of course the Giants are going to win. It's just a matter of when, not if, thanks to Snuggie Karma.

All it took was 1 more inning for the Giants to win the game with a dramatic walk-off home run (and a splash hit, no less). So even after all this time, not only is it easy to get on TV when you wear a Snuggie in public, but Snuggie Karma is just as strong as ever. And who doesn't want to wear a fleece blanket with sleeves in July?

How many infomercial products get a mention in a top 40 hit? Only the Snuggie, of course.

Jimmy Kimmel airs a Snuggie commercial parody, reminding those that are stranded in the cold, at the airport, etc. that maybe a blanket with sleeves wasn't such a bad idea after all (laugh at the Snuggie at your peril, in other words).

Matt from Zirb TV informed me that they are doing a weekly sports talk show...in NFL Snuggies.
