I have a request from Life and Style Magazine, seeking a high-resolution photo of someone wearing a Snuggie. This photo will appear in an upcoming issue of their magazine. So strike your best Snuggie pose and capture the moment with your camera. Here are the requirements:
Simply email your picture by clicking this link. Attach your picture to the email, and be certain that the photo is at least 300 dpi. I cannot guarantee that you will be selected for the magazine article, since that is beyond my control, but there is a chance you'll appear on SnuggieSightings.com.
UPDATE: The call for photo submissions for the magazine is now closed. Of course, you can always still submit your Snuggie Sightings for consideration for publication on this site. Keep an eye out for next week's issue of Life and Style Magazine to see if you made the cut.
I heard through the grapevine that there was a Sports Snuggie Sighting on ESPN. Tony Kornheiser wore a Snuggie on last Friday's Pardon the Interruption (PTI) on Valentine's Eve. Through the magic of Twitter, Tony has blessed his appearance on SnuggieSightings.com.

Yesterday we posted our first ever Snuggie Public Service Announcement (PSA) - Friends Don't Let Friends Wear their Snuggie Backwards. In that article, we chronicled the plight of Brian, who although well-intentioned, was wearing his Snuggie backwards. Here is how we last saw Brian, before his life was forever changed by the Snuggie PSA:
Brian was checking the site to see if his submission was accepted, not realizing the error of his ways. Fortunately he had his web cam set to capture the moment of his newfound fame.
Brian humbly turned his Snuggie around. His life is now whole. The lighting in his room even improved. See for yourself...

So, I ran across this lovely Snuggie hit piece by John Keller from WBZ. This aired on January 28, 2009. He shows a quick shot of SnuggieSightings.com and our very own Bridget at 1:35 in the video, but he doesn't mention the site. What's up with that? He mentions the Snuggie Drinking Game, but sums it up with "Don't Ask".
Note to John Keller: If USA Today can mention SnuggieSightings.com (which their article ran the day before your news report. Gee, I wonder where you got your source material for this piece? I'm smelling a News Emmy, John), surely you can say these words. Repeat after me: 'SNUGGIE SIGHTINGS DOT COM' (then again, he did not attribute USA Today either...moving on...)
Being a good sport, I will now reference the source material. Be sure to check us out somewhere between 1:35 to 1:36 in this video. I feel like Navin R. Johnson after the new phonebook arrived. SEATTLE - Through almost seven decades of marriage, 90-year-old Marcia Burns and her 94-year-old husband Bernie have seen about everything, until they laid their eyes on the Snuggie.
As if this couple weren't cozy enough, the 94 year old man just happens to have the name Bernie Burns. You can't make this stuff up, people! And you cannot make it on the local news in a blanket.
