A conversation with Theo von Doucheberg. The self-proclaimed original designer of the sleeved blanket. DVD featurette from The Snuggie Killer.

I have personally sat through (suffered through) THOUSANDS of pointless meetings. You know what I'm talking about - you sit for two hours, waiting for the one minute of personal relevance. Well, check this out...Jason shows how it should be done in Corporate America.

Have you ever been in a meeting that was this alive and fun and filled with laughter? All you have to do to make your meetings more interesting and convert them into must attend events is to put on a Snuggie. You don't have to bribe your staff with food.

So not only does the Blanket with Sleeves help lower heating bills, it saves you money on catering costs. By wearing a Snuggie to meetings, the job you save may be your own, thanks to the savings to the bottom line (and the boost to staff morale).

I ran into BM1988 and his animation on the Snuggie Nation Facebook Group. This reminded me that I have SnuggieNation.com just sitting there collecting dust in my domain name collection. So I've put SnuggieNation.com online and will start linking up various Snuggie related websites of interest (some my own, and some of others). Please send me links of sites that may be of interest to the Snuggie Nation.

Jimmy Fallon is in repeat tonight. They will be airing their Snuggie episode again. Here are a couple of clips from the show, with Jimmy Fallon and Tracy Morgan wearing Snuggies.

More and more companies are incorporating the Snuggie into their marketing plans. Here is Larry Port, Founding Partner of Rocket Matter. He was interviewed at the ABA Techshow on April 6, 2009. Larry opens the talk with about two minutes of legal software talk, but notice how the video's entertainment value amps up as soon as they discuss what he is wearing, a Rocket Matter Signature Snuggie.

This is a good example of a customized Snuggie for businesses to get the word out about their offerings. It is always a good idea to put on a Snuggie. You never know where the Snuggie may take you, or just how much free advertising and word of mouth an unconventional approach can bring.

All I can say is, 'Go Green. Go Snuggie.'
(I thought 'Snuggie Saves the Planet' would be a little over-the-top...and by all means, feel free to write in to share how the Snuggie has reduced your own Carbon Footprint).

If there had been an Internet in the 1980's...there would have been a SlimSuitSightings.com. Our loss. Moment of silence...then just click play.

These guys were way too ahead of their time.

Did you know that New York City has already done a Snuggie Pub Crawl? They did it on March 14, 2009. I will be updating SnuggiePubCrawls.com shortly to update the list, dates, locations, etc. So New York City is in the top 10 as far as hosting Snuggie Pub Crawls. The Minneapolis Snuggie Pub Crawlers also appear in this video, along with a couple of Snuggie Bike Riders at a strategic point in this song by Holly Yarbrough.
