NOTE TO WORLD: This is not a Designer Zebra Snuggie. This is called a dress. Photo courtesy RadarOnline.com.
I get the occasional Tweet or email with people sending me pictures of potential Snuggie Sightings, asking me to confirm or deny whether the wearer is donning a Snuggie, or simply wearing some lame thing like a bathrobe. I had to put this query out there for the world, so that we are all clear.
Here's an example Tweet from a much closer call. Here's the TwitPic Link to see what could be a Black Plush Snuggie being worn backwards on a sidewalk. I went back and forth on that one in the Tweet Stream of that conversation, giving the pros and cons for each side. I think I decided that particular TwitPic was not a Black Plush Snuggie.
I'm much more confident in my assessment of the Drew Barrymore Designer Zebra Snuggie Sighting FAIL. Keep sending in your potential Snuggie Sightings. That's what I'm here for. Happy to serve the Snuggie Nation.
Although this site's photos did not make the editorial cut to appear in the Italian Fashion Magazine Gioia magazine. It did get mentioned by Carole Hallac, in her article related to the Snuggie Cultural buzz in the States, Snuggie Pub Crawls, and a little website called SnuggieSightings.com. Thank you, Carole Hallac and Gioia Magazine.

It is getting VERY hard to keep up with the tidal wave of Snuggie news hitting right now. I guess they are not ones to sit back and relax. Just yesterday I announced the new Snuggie for kids, available in Blue and Pink. Today, I present to you...(Snuggie Drum Roll Please)...Designer Snuggie.
The Designer Snuggie is available in 3 different prints - Zebra, Leopard, and Camel. You'll also recognize some familiar faces in the new Designer Snuggie commercial.

ORIGINAL POST from March 6th, 2009:
I really have no idea what this is. It is some sort of bizarre video, with strange music, containing models strutting in public in Snuggies. It appears to be some Snuggie Fashion Statement being made out in public. The Snuggie is going upscale.
As crazy as this may sound, the Snuggie is getting a lot of attention in Fashion Designer circles. A popular Italian Fashion Magazine will be featuring photos of Snuggie revelers from the recent Nashville Snuggie Pub Crawl.
NOTE TO ITALY: Look for us in next week's GIOIA magazine. And if you see any photos credited to SnuggieSightings.com and/or SnuggiePubCrawls.com, please email a scan or send an email to let me know how it turned out. I'm not finding too many GIOIA magazines (translated "Joy") at the corner store.

Nothing helps an outfit come together quite like the Snuggie. These ladies from the University of Miami, Ohio are ready for the runwalk in their Snuggies (don't trip over them!)

The ladies tried the backward Snuggie...and I think they pulled it off.
