I previously posted the Weezer Snuggie Sightings at a concert. Rolling Stone was the first to break the news of the upcoming Weezer Snuggie, known as the Wuggie.

No word yet as to when the Weezer Snuggie will be available, or even what exactly they will look like. Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo is wearing a Leopard Print Designer Snuggie in these pictures.


Perhaps they'll just rip off the Snuggie label on the sleeve and replace it with one that reads 'Wuggie'. I could make one of those now for myself. Hello Ink Jet Printer. Time to warm up.

But seriously, I imagine that the word 'Weezer' should probably appear somewhere on this new line of Snuggies. All I know is that it is getting harder and harder to keep up with Snuggie Corp. (College Snuggies coming soon, Snuggies going International, now the Wuggie)...they are going from spreading the warmth to blanketing the earth...with sleeves.

Here's a variety show by the Bow High School Faculty Veriety Show. Mongo Snuggie Sightings in multiple colors, locations, and languages. There's even a TeleTubbies Snuggie Sighting about 2 minutes in. These guys have obviously had fun with their Snuggies, their Green Screen, and their Groovy Video editing software.

Why were my teachers never this cool?

Here's an earlier video which goes into the origins of what this was all about. This sets up the cental question 'What would happen if the Bow High School faculty adopted the Snuggie as a uniform?' I can tell you what would happen...sheer fleecy awesomeness would ensue (and ZERO kids would drop out...I'm just sayin'). So bear with this first video - the first minute or so starts a tad slow, but it gets pretty awesome within 2 minutes

Nice work, Bow High School. May I SNUGgest that you change your school mascot to the Snuggie?

Here is Jackie O from the Kyle and Jackie O Show - Australia's #1 Radio Show. This pic came from TwitPic, where she says 'Just got sent a Snuggie, am predicting this will be fashion's hottest item. It's a blanket with sleeves.' Snuggie is now hitting Australia big, and Jackie O is going to be right. It will be the hottest fashion item for Australia, just like it is in the U.S.

Snuggie Pub Crawls - They have swept the United States, with a crawl happening today 5/21 in Madison, Wisconsin and another on 5/23 in Rapid City, South Dakota. There are Snuggie Pub Crawls scheduled well into June, and we are in the Northern Hemisphere where it is getting quite warm. There are also crawls scheduled for this fall (New Orleans, and Atlanta soon to be added to the list). There's also a Snuggie Pub Crawl Blog for updates and news items.

Thanks to a Facebook friend, Susan, for being my eyes for this Snuggie Sighting from the recent Bay to Breakers in San Francisco. Bay to Breakers is an Annual Street Race, and there are side activities, costumes, etc. This year's event had a few warm and cozy additions to the roster:

I know I have arrived now. The HannahE Show on YouTube has gone to the trouble of not only mocking the Snuggie, but also she can't believe such a thing as SnuggieSightings.com actually exists. And to answer your question as to who would buy one of these - 6 million and growing. Sorry, Hannah, but the Snuggie is so much more than a Backwards Bathrobe. One final note to Hannah - I am not an 'organization'. I'm one guy who is spreading the warmth...one Snuggie at a time. Thanks for visiting and seeing fit to include my site in your video. You may want to do follow up videos on how ridiculous Designer Snuggies are, or perhaps Snuggie for Kids.
