I am in a Snuggie Video mood tonight/this morning/whatever time this is. Anywho...I previously posted what I thought was the best Snuggie parody video ever - see Socky, below.

Having a brush with Snuggie Parody greatness made me want to find the absolute worst Snuggie video I could find. So I went to YouTube and sorted Snuggie videos by rating and started scraping the bottom of the barrel. And what did I find? I found this ...

Offensive Title. Fake Snuggie. Bizarre music. Thankfully it only lasts 33 seconds. If you survive those 33 seconds, the bar of expectation will be underground. This will further enhance the awesomeness of the Socky video. The only redeeming thing to be found in this particular video is the groovy wood paneling, which reminds me of my childhood.

Great production. Many laughs (for me at least). Perfect Cheesy Acting. And the Socky is better than some other real-life products (I'm talking about you, Smitten Mitten). You can head over to Vimeo.com to check it out at the source, and leave a comment for Tim. This is talent.

Look for drinking of Sake in Socky's about half way through the vid. Now that's Punny. And at the time of this writing, mine was the 8th view of this video after 25 days online. I hope to see this spread. I realize this doesn't contain a single Snuggie Sighting in the video (shoot me and file this under 'Off Topic'), but although it is Snuggie-less, it has Snuggie written all over it. Agree?

In any language, the sheer awesomeness of the Snuggie translates. I find this video strangely amusing, although I don't know what they are saying.

So, I ran across this lovely Snuggie hit piece by John Keller from WBZ. This aired on January 28, 2009. He shows a quick shot of SnuggieSightings.com and our very own Bridget at 1:35 in the video, but he doesn't mention the site. What's up with that? He mentions the Snuggie Drinking Game, but sums it up with "Don't Ask".

Note to John Keller: If USA Today can mention SnuggieSightings.com (which their article ran the day before your news report. Gee, I wonder where you got your source material for this piece? I'm smelling a News Emmy, John), surely you can say these words. Repeat after me: 'SNUGGIE SIGHTINGS DOT COM' (then again, he did not attribute USA Today either...moving on...)

Being a good sport, I will now reference the source material. Be sure to check us out somewhere between 1:35 to 1:36 in this video. I feel like Navin R. Johnson after the new phonebook arrived. With exposure like this, there's nothing holding back SnuggieSightings.com now! Wahoo! Man, am I pumped! Roll Tape!

Apparently the Snuggie does not come with a User's Guide. We have a young lady trying on the Snuggie, and she puts it on backwards. She obviously thought this was just a bathrobe...you know, a backwards Snuggie (bathrobes are getting that rap nowadays). So she puts the Snuggie on backwards and no one stops her. You have to watch the video to find out if the Snuggie is safe to be worn backwards, but only her dogs tried to warn her against it.

Here's Kendra telling the world...and some dude named John that she got a Snuggie. She's obviously thunderstruck by the Snuggie's sheer awesomeness. She would not be able to video herself if she were trapped in a blanket.
