The Snuggie Lady
I was reading an awesome article from the Village Voice, declaring 2009 as the Year of the Snuggie. In said awesome article was a handy timeline for our friend, the Snuggie. One item in the timeline was the Snuggie Lady, Jane DeNoble, appearing in the Apple Harvest Day parade in Martinsburg, West Virginia on October 17. Here’s a belated pic from that event.

PC Magazine Names Snuggie Sightings One of Their Favorite Blogs of 2009
PC Magazine has named SnuggieSightings.com one of their Favorite Blogs of 2009. Many thanks to everyone who has submitted a photo or video this year of their Snuggie Sightings. An award such as this, while not quite as epic as a Leg Lamp, is a testament to the creativity and humor of Snuggie fans worldwide.

Snuggie Parade
Snuggie Lady Jane DeNoble will be appearing in the Apple Harvest Day Parade this Saturday, October 17th at 1 PM in Martinsburg, West Virginia. I hear she’ll be wearing a Custom Snuggie as she waves to the crowd. Fortunately she won’t be wearing a soul-crushing, restrictive blanket, or waving would be impossible.

“At least one person will be warm during this year’s 30th Apple Harvest Day Parade. Jane DeNoble, aka “The Snuggie Lady” will be participating in this year’s parade. Jane stars in the cult fave TV commercial “Snuggie” – the Blanket With Sleeves. “I’ve been coming to this parade for years and am thrilled to now be a part of it”, Jane said. Earth Vibe Productions and Events, a new company that specializes in community and musically-centered events, including weddings, charity events, and an annual Earth Day Festival, is sponsoring Jane in the parade. So come on out to this wonderful parade, don your Snuggies, and who knows, you may even get a “Snuggie Huggie” from Jane herself.
