Light Your Home with the Complimentary Booklight
Doh! There’s a deep recession going on, with no end in sight. But there is a light gleaming as a bastion of hope at the end of the tunnel. Said light which gleams is the Snuggie Complimentary Booklight.
The Snuggie commercial so eloquently reminds us that wearing the Snuggie helps lower your heating bills. What goes unmentioned is that you can lower your electric bill by illuminating your home with the Complimentary Booklight. Travis has found that he can light a 400 square foot room with a single booklight. Travis is a textbook example of the 21st Century Snuggie Survivalist. He has everything he needs: Snuggie, Water, Shelter, and Booklight.

We previously noted the Snuggie Gang Sign Phenomenon in our Snuggie Gangland Collection – the inexplicable desire to flash gang signs while wearing a Snuggie. Besides this curiousity, others react to the Snuggie by raising their arms. Once one is free from the bondage of the blanket, the arms are sure to rise. Can I get an amen?
Two popular poses are “The Moses”, exhibited by Bryan (pictured above), and the “Happy Little Crop Duster” modeled by Phoenix, below.
Snuggie Piano
Jaime is not only lowering his heating bills, he is penning his first Snuggie Movement…”Ode to Snuggie – A Concerto in B-Flat Minor”.
We asked Jaime to explain his inspiration for writing “Ode to Snuggie”. After he pondered this for several minutes, he finally found the words:
“The piece conveys my inner feelings about the Snuggie. I simply cannot express the joy I feel when I’m in my Snuggie. I think if I had to pick just one word to describe that special feeling I get, it would be ‘Warm Fuzzy’….shoot, that’s two words! Ahh! This is so hard. But what is art other than hard? Ok, you have me cornered. That word would be ‘Snuggie-licious’. It resonates, you know?”
We know.
