I’m on a Boat … in a Snuggie
Anne writes, “here is a snuggie sighting on board the Diamond Princess on Christmas Eve 2009 from Auckland to Sydney Australia” – What can I say? I ran across this going through old emails. After a long wait, here’s your aquatic Snuggie Sighting, Anne!
Let’s take a closer look at that Snuggie.
Melbourne Snuggie Sightings
Megan and her brother Luke have been waiting patiently for their Snuggies to arrive. I’ve been following their Snuggie-less plight via Twitter. Well, today is their lucky day, and they cannot contain their Snuggie joy. From Melbourne, Australia, these are the first Snuggie Sightings submitted directly to me.
Congrats Megan. Your Snuggies are going to mean more to you than your movie collection behind you.
And I see from this final pic of Luke, that the Snuggie Restless Arm Syndrome has hopped the pond and is going to spread across Oz in no time.
The Snuggie Restless Arm Syndrome is the curious condition of Snuggie wearers being unable to keep their arms down to their side.
Keep them coming, Australia (and America, Canada, etc.) More on upcoming Media and Book appearances forthcoming – all you’ve got to do is submit a Snuggie Sighting and you could be a star.
Team Crikey Takes the Snuggie on an Australian Roadtest
The Snuggie continues its march toward blanketing the earth…with sleeves, hitting the Southern Hemisphere in the midst of Winter. Here are some of the first Snuggie Sightings to come in from Down Under.

Leaf Blowing does not Suck in a Snuggie…It Blows!
Australian Snuggie BMX… You can’t do this in a blanket!
(how long until Snuggie BMX is an Olympic Sport?)
Regardless of where you might find yourself on this little marble in the universe which we call Earth, you can proudly wear the Snuggie out and about.
Be sure to check out Team Crikey for more Australian Snuggie Sightings. I hear they are going to be posting updates about further features and fleecy fun with the Snuggie. Someday soon in Australia, our friend the Snuggie is going to be bigger than Crocodile Dundee.
